Rebar Machine: Rebar Machine is used for forming external threads by using rollers.
Manufacturing Process: Cutting: The end of reinforcing bar is squarely cut by circular blade cutting machine for perpendicularity.
Cold Thread Rolling: Parallel threads are formed by cold rolled process at the end of the bars.Cold rolling process delivers threads that are stronger and smoother than cut threads. Cold Roll Technology strengthens the root and flank of the rebar threads and provides for a significant increased rebar/coupler connection.Cold rolling is the preferred method for forming threads and delivers superior tensile strength, shear strength, resistance to fatigue, and thread accuracy. Pinnacle couplers are Type II (Joint compliant to 1.25fy and meet specified tensile strength of re bar) as per ACI 318 and Pinnacle coupling systems are cold rolled formed threads .The Couplers joint is butt joint as specified in BS 8110. Threading :An ISO standard metric thread is then cut. Overall Performance Mode of Failure: Bar breaks away from the joint
Performance of Joint: Superior to re-bar tensile strength Linear elongation of parent bar after failure: Measurable Permanent Elongation: < 0.1mm
